The STRONG lab at AFRL’s Human Performance Wing presented Black Lab PerformX (BLPX) with an urgent need to quickly prepare elite operational ground and flying units for maximum performance in extreme cold weather operations across the globe.
BLPX took on the challenge, collecting and synthesizing information that is often fragmented and inaccessible, locked in the personal knowledge of seasoned cold weather operators experienced with extreme temperatures down to -60 degrees Fahrenheit.
